What we refuse to claim

Education software is thick with claims that sound scientific and aren't. Proareta™ is built under a written claims discipline — our marketing is machine-checked against it before every release — and we think publishing it is worth more than any feature list.

We don't sort you into a "type"

A popular idea says each person has a fixed way of learning — visual, auditory, kinesthetic — and that teaching works best when matched to your type. Decades of studies have looked for that matching effect and haven't found it. So Proareta will never sort you into a type or sell you type-matched content.

What actually differs between learners — enormously — is what you already know, what you're reaching for, and where you get stuck. That's what the conversation discovers, and that's what the adaptation runs on. Real personalization is about you, not your "type."

We don't promise you a better brain

Proareta is not a cognitive-enhancement product and will never market itself as one. No claims about boosting your IQ, your memory-in-general, or your mental fitness. The honest claim is narrower and better: you will know more, retain it longer, and be able to prove it.

We don't do engagement theater

No streaks — no counter that resets to zero and makes you anxious about missing a day. No leaderboards pitting you against strangers. Those patterns optimize for opening the app, not for learning. When Proareta asks for your time, it's because the timing serves your memory — and it will tell you why.

We don't shame your honesty

During assessment, Proareta may ask how solid you think a skill is, and compare that with what it observed. That comparison is used silently, to calibrate confidence in your map. Copy like "you rated yourself 4 out of 5 but performed at 2" is banned by rule. Honesty about your own skills should never cost you.

What we do build on

• Retrieval practice and spacing. Recalling something at the right moment strengthens it far more than re-reading it — among the most replicated results in learning research. Proareta's review timing is built on it, and framed honestly: better retention of what you learned, not a transformed mind.
• Evaluative conversation. Explaining, critiquing, and applying reveal understanding in a way multiple-choice can't. Assessment here is a dialogue that adapts to your answers.
• Evidence-linked judgment. Every competency on your map cites the moment that earned it. If we can't point to evidence, it isn't on your map.
• Your ownership. Your data readable without our software, your record exportable and verifiable without us, your conversations never mined for anyone else's product.
