Most learning platforms hand you a certificate that proves you sat through something, hosted on their servers, useful only while your account — and their business — survives. Proareta™ is built on the opposite premise: what you earn belongs to you.
Badges an employer can verify without us
When you demonstrate a competency, you'll be able to export it as an Open Badge (3.0) — an open-standard, cryptographically signed credential. An employer can check that it's genuine using standard tooling, offline, without contacting us, without you having an account, without Proareta even existing anymore. The signature is the proof; no phone-home, ever.
The whole record travels too
Badges share one achievement at a time. When you want to move everything — to an employer's system, another platform, or a folder you control — your full record exports as a Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR 2.0): every achievement, its evidence trail, and how they connect. Alongside the standards-grade credentials you also get the complete data export in documented, readable form. Nothing is held back and nothing is held hostage.
Anonymous by default
Exported credentials identify you only as much as you choose. The default carries no name and no email — verification works through a code you hold. If you want a credential bound to your email or a digital identity, that's your call at export time, credential by credential.
No expiry games
A credential says something true happened: you demonstrated a competency, on a date, with evidence. That never stops being true, so your credentials don't expire. Skills do fade — Proareta will tell you that, privately, on your map, and offer the short practice that freshens the skill and the credential's currency. A faded skill is a fact to act on, never a public mark against you, and never a reason a past achievement gets revoked.
What evidence travels
Exported credentials carry a narrative of what you demonstrated and tamper-evident references to the evidence — never transcripts of your conversations. What you said stays yours.
If you leave
Leave whenever you want. Your account stays exportable for a 90-day grace window after you close it, your already-exported credentials verify forever regardless, and your data arrives in formats any engineer — or any future tool — can read without our software.
